ÁMBITO
DE ACUMULACIÓN 2001-2002
* All it from an opened atmosphere space, based on the colour as light, and as the sustenance in where the language of painting is developed. Thus, this space, is articulated from different objects like the light, the form, the drawing, the colour, etc., and in where is developed the visual perception of the pretend, of the optician and of the virtual. I have subtitled these paintings like: 1-

Espacio modificado In these pieces I work in an open space that selforganice by itself and where the chance appears as a fundamental element in the accomplishment of the work. The approach to the work is: to destroy a reality, and from this action, to create a totally new other through a modification of the matter and the space. With this exposition, I am working in my painting the idea of destroy to construct through a modification, that also could be understood like a rectification; thus, the moment when I consider myself to be painting is when I work on the canvas cuting the paint, destroying that which exists and creating a new reality, given by the use of the sharp knife. This is important in the process of execution because it allows me to take a step back from painting, to paint as though outside painting. It prevents me from controlling the process, allowing hazard to play a role, and it creates a crude atmospheric space which moves the work away from the precious. Painting matter appears, but as a negation, resulting in an empty texture; like anti-matter. The
idea of chaos also appears in this work, within an order which makes this
chaos function. The idea of mark or the sing that the time make on things
, express a reality that interest me visually and conceptually, because
of the hazard that manifest. 2-
Espacio regulador In this work I consider the concept of maintained organization, thus, the work process is the regulation of the act of paint. A regulation that occurs in the time and in the space during the process of painting, but that doesn't comes from any previous sketch, reason why the result is not foreseeable. Thus, in these paintings the time is maintained, is slow; although it can seems in the visual perception of the work that the execution is expressive, fruit of the rapidity in the execution, is not thus; here it reveals the appearance, the ambivalence of which it seems that it is and it is not. The broche ones extend and happen in a tempo lento, into where they are transformed, being developed in a continuous change in the formal and in the chromatic thing creating an ambivalent virtual space, in where are interlaced different visual aspects. It is the construction of the space in the execution process, without rectifications and without a previous scheme of work, in where from an open or chaotic exposition, the pictorial space is organized from a regulation of the time during the execution process. 3-
Autoacumulación 4 Caprichos* In this serie the space organizes in different planes and scales. Here, the space is opened, and the accumulation disperses and acquires different proportions. It is an opened accumulation, in where the empty spaces are part of the spacial plot. The colour and the forms are interlaced creating a plot of full and empty spaces, in an opened atmospheric field, in where the light and the colour expand interlacing themselves and superposing themselves in different scales. There
is an spacial independence, in where it reveals like an a floating atmosphere,
in which the objects seems to flow in their own ambit without the weight
of the gravity influences to them. Sant
